STUDY ABROAD SCHOLARSHIPS

CCF offers opportunities for students to engage with all things Italian through study abroad, internships, or other programs in Italy.

2025 – 2026 STUDY ABROAD SCHOLARSHIPS ARE CLOSED

Please check back in November 2025 for the academic year 2026-27

THE GUARINI SCHOLARSHIP

The Honorable Frank Guarini, Chair Emeritus of John Cabot University, and a CCF founding member, established a perpetual fund to enable Italian American students to attend John Cabot University in Rome. The application is now open to US citizens or residents who are planning to attend John Cabot University for one semester or two consecutive semesters, are of at least 25% Italian heritage, and have a GPA of 3.5 or higher.

OPPORTUNITIES FUND

The CCF Opportunities Fund supports students currently pursuing programs in Italy in the fields of Italian language, literature, art, history, music, archaeology, architecture, or other disciplines that reflect the richness of Italian culture and its significance today.

Students must confirm their enrollment (or explain the status of their application) in an existing program to study abroad in Italy to be eligible for funding. A detailed budget of all expenses must be included.  Applicants must possess a GPA of 3.5 or higher to qualify.
