Dr. Fauci was previously named as a Columbus Celebration Honoree in 1988, for his ground-breaking work on curbing the AIDS epidemic worldwide.
2021 will mark the Foundation's first year of awarding the Dr. Anthony S. Fauci Scholarship. This scholarship will be awarded annually to the student who best exemplifies Dr. Fauci's commitment to public safety, and has been accepted into an accredited graduate program studying medicine or public health policy.
At inception, the Fauci Scholarship is seeking to raise one million dollars in endowment that will be distributed as $25,000 annual amounts to a single recipient each year. Please note, we are no longer taking applications for the Dr. Anthony S. Fauci Scholarship for the 2021-2022 school year.
